The high/low pressure protection of water treatment reverse osmosis equipment is to prevent the RO high-pressure pump from idling or working beyond the limit of high/low pressure. High voltage switch is used for high voltage protection. As the equipment usage time increases, the membrane will become dirty and clogged, and the natural membrane inlet pressure will increase. When the pressure increases to a certain extent, in order to protect the equipment and pipelines from damage, a high-pressure switch is needed for protection. When the pressure increases to the preset value of the pressure switch, the equipment will be forced to stop.
Low pressure switch. When the pressure inside the water inlet pipe is low, the reverse osmosis membrane cannot work properly and will continue to discharge wastewater. Therefore, when the inlet pressure does not meet the working requirements, the circuit will be cut off and the machine will stop working. When the pressure inside the inlet pipe meets the working requirements, it will start working again.
The low-voltage switch has two adjustable screws, one is to adjust the reference pressure, usually 0-6 bar, and the other is to adjust the differential pressure, usually 0-2 bar, which can be adjusted with a screwdriver.
There are two possibilities for common low-voltage switches to always trip. One is that the raw water pressure fluctuates greatly, and the other is that the reference pressure is near the raw water pressure value and the return pressure is small.
Solution to fluctuation of raw water pressure: exhaust the pre-treatment equipment and increase the opening of the outlet valve of the raw water pump to make the pressure of the raw water relatively higher, making it less likely to jump. Solution to low differential pressure: 1. First, observe the pressure during normal operation of the equipment and adjust the reference pressure slightly lower than it. For example, if the pre-treatment water production pressure is 2.5 bar, the reference pressure can be adjusted to 2 bar; 2. Set the pressure value for the low-pressure jump, for example, when the raw water pressure is below 1.5 bar, the pressure switch starts to jump, and then adjust the return pressure to 0.5 bar; 3. Although it has been adjusted, the accuracy of the adjustment also varies. Therefore, adjust according to the actual pressure situation until it meets its own requirements. For example, when the pressure is 2 bar, it will close, and when the pressure is 1.5 bar, it will jump (at this time, the pressure can be adjusted by adjusting the high-pressure pump valve or the outlet valve of the raw water pump). 4. If you want to increase the pressure difference, you can also adjust the pressure difference to 0.8-1.0 bar, so that it will close when the pressure reaches 2 bar and jump off when the pressure is below 1 bar.
