Details

Pure water equipment, it is mainly used reverse osmosis membrane technology. The principle of the system is to apply certain pressure on water to make water molecules and ionic mineral elements pass through reverse osmosis membrane, and most inorganic salts (including heavy metals), organic matter, bacteria and viruses dissolved in water cannot pass through the reverse osmosis membrane, so as to make the permeated purified water and the impervious concentrated water strictly separated; The pore size of reverse osmosis membrane is only 0.0001 μ m, while the diameter of virus is generally 0.02-0.4 μ m, and that of common bacteria is 0.4-1 μ M.

          In recent decades, the mixed bed ion exchange technology has been used as the standard process for the preparation of ultra pure water. Because it needs periodic regeneration and a large number of chemical drugs (acid and alkali) and pure water are used in the regeneration process, and some environmental problems are caused, so it is necessary to develop the acid-base free ultra-pure water system.

Because traditional ion exchange has been unable to meet the needs of modern industry and environmental protection, EDI technology, which combines membrane, resin and electrochemical principle, has become a revolution of water treatment technology. The regeneration of ion exchange resin is electricity, which is no longer needed acid and alkali, so it is more suitable for the environmental protection requirements of the world.

          Since the industrialization of EDI membrane reactor technology in 1986, thousands of EDI systems have been installed around the world, especially in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, power and surface cleaning industries, and also widely used in wastewater treatment, beverage and microorganism.

Advantages of EDI device

EDI device is used in reverse osmosis system, instead of traditional mixed ion exchange technology (MB DI) to produce stable deionized water. EDI technology has the following advantages compared with mixed ion exchange technology:

EDI technology is a kind of revolutionary water treatment technology. It is a high-tech green environmental protection technology, which combines electrodialysis and ion exchange organically. EDI device is used in reverse osmosis system, replacing ion exchange resin, without acid and alkali regeneration, and has the characteristics of stable water quality, low operating cost, convenient operation and management, small floor area, etc.

Equipment principle

The ultra pure water equipment adopts pretreatment, reverse osmosis technology, mixed bed, EDI device and post-treatment to remove the conductive medium in water almost completely, and remove the non dissociated colloidal substances, gases and organic substances to a very low level of water treatment equipment.   Ultra pure water equipment is also called: ultra pure water device, ultra pure water machine, ultra pure water instrument, ultra pure water system, laboratory ultra pure water equipment, etc. The resistance rate of ultra pure water produced by super pure water machine shall be greater than 10 megohm generally, and the water above 10 megaohm is called super pure water.
